KALAMAZOO, MI – After about 90 minutes battling a blaze Sunday, firefighters have a fire at a hotel in Kalamazoo now under control.
No injuries were reported in the incident that started around 2 pm Sunday, March 24, in the 2700 block of Airview Boulevard, according to Kalamazoo Public Safety officials.
Officials did not name the hotel, however, an MLive reporter near the scene spotted smoke and flames coming from the Days Inn & Suites on Airview Boulevard.

A nearby trampoline park, Airborne Kalamazoo, closed Sunday as power and internet were out at the plaza.
“Our thoughts are with those affected by this disaster, as well as our first responders,” the business said in a Facebook post.
