Dubai’s Salon du Chocolat celebrates fifth edition

Salon du Chocolat et de la Pâtisserie Dubai is set to return to Madinat Jumeirah for its fifth edition from November 30 to December 2, bringing together the region’s chocolate, pastry, and coffee enthusiasts for three days of discovery and indulgence.

Organized by HSME, the internationally celebrated exhibition will occupy 3,500 square meters of interactive space at Madinat Arena. The event is designed to connect professionals, brands, chefs, and consumers. According to the organizers, the Dubai edition will welcome more than 7,000 visitors and feature over 360 participating brands alongside 120 exhibitors. This gathering aims to showcase products and innovations shaping the confectionery and café sectors.

“Salon du Chocolat et de la Pâtisserie continues to evolve as a platform that celebrates craftsmanship, creativity and shared passion,” said Joumana Dammous-Salamé, managing director of HSME. “Each edition is aimed at offering visitors an immersive experience — one that inspires new ideas, encourages exchange and highlights the artistry that defines excellence in this industry.”

Program Highlights

The event will feature a rich program blending lifestyle experiences with professional engagement. Key highlights include the iconic Chocolate Fashion Show, which will transform the runway into a celebration of creativity. This year’s theme, executed by the region’s renowned pastry chefs and designers from ESMOD, will celebrate iconic singers and music legends.

Leading chefs will host interactive workshops at the Pastry Show and live demonstrations at the Choco Démo, allowing audiences to discover techniques, trends, and flavor innovations. The Talks serve as one of the most anticipated pillars of the event, bringing together industry experts and thought leaders for sessions on sustainability, emerging trends, and the evolution of key ingredients.

Competitions will provide a platform for emerging talents and established professionals to showcase their expertise. Specialty coffee showcases, including the Coffee in Good Spirits Championship, will also be featured. Experiential spaces such as the Brew Bar will allow visitors to explore the connection between coffee culture and mixology.

Maha El Khoury, projects and sales director at HSME, noted that the Dubai edition reflects the region’s lively culinary scene and its growing appetite for experiential events that combine business, emerging trends, and engaging experiences. “The Salon serves as a dynamic platform that brings the community together around a shared passion,” she said.

Despite the grand scale of the event, the sheer density of talent and product on display can make handling the 3,500 square meters overwhelming. Attendees who spend too much time at the Brew Bar might find themselves rushing to catch the final runway walk of the Chocolate Fashion Show, illustrating how difficult it is to balance the industry’s networking demands with its sheer entertainment value. This tension between professional duty and personal indulgence is a familiar rhythm for anyone who has spent a day at a major trade fair.
