However, we’ve done some digging to find the cheapest spots still available for you and one other guest to stay the night in Dublin on March 17.
Clayton Hotel, Dublin Airport – €179
One of Dublin’s 4-star hotels, 7.4km from the city centre. Close to the airport and transport to the city center. The price of a deluxe double room or single room here is €179 and does not include breakfast.
Talbot Hotel, Stillorgan – €199
This will get you a twin room around a 20-minute drive to the city center, depending on traffic, with buses stopping near the hotel. The price of the room for the night is €199 and does not include breakfast.
Gleesons Townhouse, Booterstown – €219
You can stay in a double room here for €219, and it takes around 15 minutes to get to the city center by Dart. Your stay will include breakfast.
Harcourt Hotel – €219
You can stay in a triple room in this central Dublin hotel, near St Stephen’s Green and other major attractions for €219. The hotel is also located along the green Luas line.
Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road – €228
A standard king room for two located a 25-minute walk from Grafton Street is on offer for €228 on March 17. The price does not include breakfast and no prepayment is required.
Roxford Lodge Hotel – €249
A small double room is still free in Ballsbridge for €249, which is just 1.5 miles from Dublin city centre. To add breakfast to your stay you’ll need to pay an extra €8.50.
House Bedrooms Dublin – €252
A double room is available just a 6-minute walk from St Stephen’s Green at the House Hotel. Prices are set at €252 but guests are warned that the hotel also operates a nightclub which people may find unsuitable.
Phoenix Park Hotel – €256
A double room in this family-run hotel, overlooking Phoenix Park and close to Heuston station and the red line Luas, is available for €256 for the night. To add breakfast, it’s €7.50 per person.
Dublin One – €259
To stay in the center of Dublin for Paddy’s Day, a standard double room at this hotel costs €259 for the night.
