From finding baby snacks to creepy crawlers to roaches, the bizarre list of scary insects finding their way into restaurant meals has totally ruined the idea of dining out. According to a report by a leading digital daily, the weird incident took place on the 4th of January around 3 pm when the woman visited New Capitol Hotel restaurant on Bengaluru’s Raj Bhavan Road. She ordered a meal and ended up with a moving cockroach in her spicy Paneer Butter Masala.
The reactions
In response to this creepy and disgusting incident, the lady, who is also a lawyer by profession, took to the internet and filmed the moving cockroach. This move was opposed by the restaurant, and they harassed her, turning her dining experience into a nightmare.

Complaint and action
The lady also accused the hotel staff of abusing, threatening, and harassing her for filming the video of a moving cockroach. The case was further registered with the Vidhana Soudha police station. According to an official statement given to the media by a senior police official: “A lawyer lodged a complaint with the Vidhana Soudha police station yesterday after having lunch at a private hotel. The incident occurred around 3 pm when the lawyer found a cockroach in her meal (paneer gravy). She efficiently contacted the police and the food inspector. She then began recording a video with her mobile phone in the kitchen, capturing the meal preparation when the hotel staff allegedly dragged, pushed, and threatened her.”

The rage against this case took the internet by storm, and based on the complaint, Bengaluru police have registered a case against two members of the hotel. An investigation is currently ongoing.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time diners have come across such incidents, where insects, creepy crawlers, plastic, or metals are cooked and served along with meals.
